Nothing warms the Italian heart like great food and music, especially when it includes dancing outdoors on a warm summer night. And that’s exactly what Casa Italia has to offer at Ballo Sotto le Stelle. Slated for Aug. 18 at the Casa’s Festival Center, the event will begin with a sumptuous feast, served family-style by Alta Villa Banquets on tables set with linen, china and silverware. Afterward, popular entertainers DJ Alex with Mike & Victoria will light up the pavilion with Italian favorites that are guaranteed to fill the dance floor.
The event is co-hosted by a bevy of local groups, including the Americans of Italian Descent of DuPage County, Associazione Regionale Siciliani in America, Calabresi in America Organization, Chicago West Suburban UNICO, Chicagoland Italian American Charitable Organization, Columbian Club of Chicago, Italian American Executives of Transportation, Italian American Veterans Museum, Italian Catholic Federation Branch 439, Radio Maria, St. Mary of Sambuca Society, and the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.
