Lauren Carlini has long been in love with Madison. And before long she just might be in LOVB with Madison. Carlini, arguably the greatest player in University of Wisconsin volleyball history, has decided to become part of League One Volleyball (LOVB), one of the professional volleyball leagues that plans to begin play in the United States late in 2024.
Carlini, who led the Badgers to the NCAA championship match as a freshman in 2013, is part of a star-studded group of setters who announced their commitments to LOVB (pronounced ‘love’), including fellow U.S. National team members Carli Lloyd, Jordyn Poulter and Micha Hancock. Also coming onboard is dynamic outside hitter Jordan Thompson.
