Dominic Fletcher and Nicky Lopez, two of Team Italy’s best performing players in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, are reunited on the Chicago White Sox.
 
After signing Martin Maldonado, Paul DeJong and Kevin Pillar as well as making a trade with the Atlanta Braves to get Max Stassi and Nicky Lopez, the Chicago White Sox made another important trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks to receive outfielder Dominic Fletcher in exchange for highly-touted pitching prospect Christian Mena on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
