A webinar entitled "A walk into the Italian World: the Use of Current Events and Social Media in the Italian Class" will be held on March 26th, organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Chicago, in collaboration with the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and NOI Foundation Detroit.
The session aims to give participating teachers practical ideas on using current events and social media to develop language activities with increasing levels of difficulty. The suggestions aim to show how to utilize posts and trending topics to create original lessons and fun activities based on authentic material from the web and social media.
