Let’s return to yesteryear, to the good old days. Ah yes, when the arrival of the circus was cause for celebration. The long, brightly painted train would pull into the station, the unloading would begin and soon there would be a parade down Main Street, led by the circus marching band.
The kids would line the sidewalks to ooh and aah at the elephants, the camels, the caged lions and tigers. They’d wave at the trapeze artists and laugh at the clowns. But those days are gone. Well, not entirely. Here comes Cirque Italia Water Circus to Castle Rock — and three other Colorado stops.
