It wasn't a succesful week for Italian players in the NBA. Andrea Bargnani is out indefinitely for the New York Knicks after he suffered a torn ligament in his left elbow on Wednesday, while Danilo Gallinari's season with the Denver Nuggets ended before it even started.
Gallinari underwent Healing Response surgery after tearing his ACL last year and had expected to play for the Nuggets at some point this season, but the ligament hasn't healed properly and forced the 25-year-old back to the operating table.
