The 39th Season of the Long Prairie Chamber Orchestra is set to begin with a resounding Viva L'italia!
Conductor Adam Tervola Hultberg from New York Mills, has selected the best of Italy as the theme for the October 26 Concert, including pieces by Mendelssohn, Von Suppe, and Cerulli. The concert will be held at the LPGE High School auditorium in Long Prairie on Saturday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m.
"This is a challenging concert, but the orchestra has really been working hard and I think it will prove to be a great evening of music for our audience," said Hultberg.
"It's always rewarding to see these dedicated musicians come from as far as Bemidji, Walker and Alexandria, and as close as Grey Eagle, Sauk Centre and of course, Long Prairie, and work so hard to create a quality musical experience."
