Fresh off his appearance on America’s Got Talent as a solo act, Frank Sinatra tribute show artist, Joey Chiarenza will be teaming up with the 18-piece SOS Band to bring his show to the Sons of Italy in Quincy on October 28, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The show is dubbed a Halloween Show with optional costumes and includes a complete Italian buffet and the comedy of Jody Sloane. The event will be MCed by Paul Santos of the Paul Santos Show.
The North End in Boston’s Little Italy is where Joey fell in love with the sounds of Sinatra’ and they have remained in his heart to this day. “When I grew up, I began singing at family affairs,” shared Chiarenza, who appears weekly on Friday afternoons on WMEX radio. “I would sing my mother’s favorite song, “My Way,” which still makes me tear up when I sing it on stage.”
