Last Saturday, Andrea Bargnani and David Lee held their own version of the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. There were no judges with scorecards, exotic props, or entourages chilling courtside. Instead, Bargnani and Lee went head-to-head during the first quarter of the Toronto Raptors' game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Gardens.
The Italian froze Al Harrington with a shot fake, drove the paint aggressively, and threw down a one-handed jam over the Knicks' perennial double-double machine. This, of course, sent the Raptors' enthusiastic bench into a wild frenzy.
