According to Italian transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, we could be seeing Juventus midfielder, Andrea Pirlo, heading stateside following the UEFA Champions League Final on June 6th. Di Marzio is reporting that the 36-year-old has been in contact with New York City FC and is tempted by the idea of plying his trade in the Big Apple.
Pirlo has stated recently that if Juventus won the Champions League he would likely leave the club and consider options offshore. Speculation out of the peninsula is that the Italian international has already begun looking into the next chapter of his career.
