Susan Wagner boys' soccer coach Francesca McAuliffe was recently named United Youth Soccer Stars of New York's (UYSSNY) Woman of the Year and on Sunday, she was honored during the organization's 13th annual Dinner Dance at Russo's on the Bay in Queens.

McAuliffe said she was touched upon learning PSAL official Joe Cerrati had nominated her for the prestigious award and in early February, Cerrati contacted her to inform the seventh-year coach that the UYSSNY and Italian-American Soccer League chose her as the winner.
