An eclectic musical evening – Italy, Cuba, Spain, and more! The film music of legendary Nino Rota (movies of Federico Fellini, Franco Zeffirelli, and Academy Award winner) for his score of The Godfather, will be a featured live premiere, at the Symphony's special event in honor of Hispanic & Italian Heritage Month, conducted by Nino Lepore, Artistic Director of the National Symphony in Bari, Italy, known for his own compositions of film music. Cuban powerhouse pianist, Jorge Luis Prats, joins Maestro Brooks-Bruzzese for the balance of the concert, to feature the music of Cuban composer Ernestro Lecuona, Suite Española, and Granados Spanish Dances.
