An unforgettable evening when extraordinary women gather from around the world on stage at the Manatee Performing Arts Center in Bradenton, Florida on January 8 for the Women Aid concert, an event celebrating the power of women in music and the transformative power of art.

This unique concert brings together women artists from five continents, led by Valeria Altobelli singer, composer and women's rights activist. Emma Henderson (Australian bassist), Anna Demis (Ukrainian pianist), Jamie Scoles (Asian drummer), Nessa Dove (African guitarist) and Jimena Fosado (American guitarist) to represent, in music, the 5 continents.

The concept was devised by Altobelli herself and first presented in September in the Paestum Archaeological Park in an extraordinary concert event featuring 10 international female musicians from as many nations.

These incredible artists will perform alongside the talented women of The Pops Orchestra of Bradenton-Sarasota, under the masterful musical direction of conductor Robyn Bell. There are still very few female instrumentalists, composers, and conductors on the music scene, and thanks to this tour, which, from Italy has already touched down in America, the goal is precisely to raise awareness of the unifying power of women and the power of transformation through art, thanks to world-class artists.

The Muses Concert is more than a performance: it is a celebration of the strength, resilience and power of women to shape the world through their art. Their extraordinary music and a powerful message of empowerment will inspire the audience by generating, through a repertoire reminiscent of all the bands in the history of rock - to the “male” - a profound reflection on the need for action in the artistic-cultural field regarding the female issue, which is still underrepresented in the professions of music and art.
