"My name is nobody". Two shows only: Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25. 1:00 PM. The Guild - 3405 Central Ave NE - Albuquerque, NM. $5 Admission when you ask for the Italian Festival’s rate. Conceived and produced by Spaghetti Western legend, Sergio Leone, and directed by one of his most loyal students, Tonino Valerii, this 1973 classic stars Henry Fonda in his last western film role, and features a stunning soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. Partially shot in New Mexico, the film will be introduced at the Sunday screening by NM film historian, Jeff Berg.
A gunfighter heading for New Orleans to board a ship and retire peacefully to Europe is prevented from hanging up his pistols by the persistent admiration of a young gunman called Nobody. Initially hired to kill the veteran fighter, Nobody becomes his friend and insists that the great man's career should end with a glorious climax, triggering an unforgettable finale that's become an action comedy legend. Note that Nobody is dubbed in English – a great example of why Italian voice over dubbing is considered the best in the industry! View Trailer
