After taking a four-college, 11-day trip to the United States, Italian guard Davide Moretti has made his final decision. Moretti, who visited Lubbock during the June 2 weekend, committed Saturday afternoon to Texas Tech, per a source. The 19-year-old, high-level guard is expected to part of the Red Raiders’ stacked 2017 recruiting class and will have four years of eligibility.
The Bologna, Italy, native visited four schools during his trip to the U.S., which included Indiana, UConn and a final trek to Utah on June 8, via Scout.com’s Evan Daniels. During his Lubbock visit, Moretti was spotted taking in an NCAA Lubbock Regional final baseball game between Texas Tech and Sam Houston State back on June 4.
