We are pleased to share with you the Seattle International Film Festival’s 12th annual "Cinema Italian Style” going virtual for 2020, from December 10-17. The festival is an event uniting the Italian community in Seattle like no other - and now, virtually, we can share with other Italian Sister City communities. We invite your participation in this opportunity to immerse yourself in Italian culture.
Passes and individual tickets are now available online: https://www.siff.net/year-round-cinema/film-festivals/cinema-italian-style The full festival schedule will be released on December 3,2020. To kick off the festival on December 8, 2020, please join Professor Antonio Iannotta’s Bread, Love and Cinema webinar as he takes us through some of the most iconic and important Italian films exploring food culture in Italian history.
Please view here details and join this conversation: https://www.siff.net/education/film-appreciation/classes/bread-love-cinema
From December 10-17 the Festival will continue virtually bringing the best in new Italian cinema straight to your homes. Please save the dates and spread the word! Cinema Italian Style at SIFF is co-presented with Seattle-Perugia Sister City Association in collaboration with Luce Cinecittà and Italian Cultural Institutes and consulates in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Arts and theater organizations in all of our communities have been negatively impacted by the global pandemic. However, SIFF is working hard in collaboration with the Italian organizations of Seattle to present this film festival online.
If you appreciate Italian and other international film offerings, you may consider a donation to SIFF and/or to your local Italian organizations during this challenging time https://siff.networkforgood.com/projects/89955-2020-annual-fund
