Love Street Playhouse cooks up a gourmet event with family, faith and food in October with its production of “Over the River and Through the Woods,” by Joe Di Pietro. The play centers around Nick, a single man from New Jersey, whose parents are retired and move to Florida. Every Sunday, he sees both sets of grandparents at dinner. Then, one day he has to tell them he has been offered a dream job that would take him away from his beloved, yet annoying grandparents who begin a series of schemes to try to keep him around.
