Although the International Stars College Showcase welcomed baseball players from all over the world, the 19 Italians ballplayers participating were the largest group from any of the countries represented during the program in Phoenix, Arizona from October 1-11, 2019.

Led by International Stars College Showcase Technical Director Mauro Mazzotti, the only coach in Italian baseball history to win four championships with three different teams (Rimini 1999, Bologna 2003/2005, and Grosseto 2007), the motivated players received individualized professional instruction and evaluation as well as an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of U.S. college coaches from all divisions and levels across the country.
