Italian American DJ and producer Matteo Milleri, aka Anyma, presented the audio/visual ‘Genesys’ show in Las Vegas, which has fascinated audiences around the world. His residency at The Sphere is a significant milestone. Initially scheduled for a limited run from December 27, 2024, to January 1, 2025, the overwhelming demand led to the addition of two more dates on January 10 and 11, 2025.
Italian American Anyma is worldwide celebrated for his innovative fusion of electronic music, visual arts, and cutting-edge technology. Born on May 19, 1988, in New York City, Milleri moved to Italy during his childhood. In Milan, he pursued sound engineering studies at the SAE Institute, where he met Carmine Conte.
The duo formed Tale of Us in 2011, relocating to Berlin to immerse themselves in the vibrant electronic music culture. Their unique blend of melodic techno and house garnered international acclaim, leading to performances at major festivals and the establishment of their label, Afterlife Records, in 2016.
In 2021, Milleri launched his solo project, Anyma, aiming to explore the intersection of music, digital art, and immersive experiences. The debut EP, Claire, released in June 2021, featured collaborations with artists like Janus Rasmussen and Delhia de France. Notably, the title track was accompanied by the world's first full-size NFT music video, showcasing Milleri's commitment to integrating technology with artistry.
Anyma's live performances are renowned for their immersive quality, blending state-of-the-art visuals with melodic techno soundscapes. Collaborating with visual artists such as Alessio De Vecchi and utilizing technologies like virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR), Milleri creates multisensory experiences that blur the lines between the physical and digital realms. This approach was highlighted in a February 2023 article by Millionaire, emphasizing Anyma's role in shaping the future of music performance.
