The U.S. Ski Team has brought in Alberto Senigagliesi (sen-u-GLAZE-ee) to take over as the women's speed coach. The former Italian men's speed coach steps in for Stefan Abplanalp, who left the team after one season in charge. Senigagliesi said he's looking forward to building a "strong group on the mountain and maintain the energy off the hill."
He's also worked as a coach at Carrabassett Valley Academy in Maine and as a racing test manager for Rossignol. In addition, the ski team promoted Brandon Dyksterhouse to a full-time position, where he will work with Olympic slalom champion Mikaela Shiffrin and the rest of the women's technical team.
