"SAY WHAT NOW" was the reaction of cocktail aficionado and Gothamist contributor Dan Dickinson when I told him about the "Negroni Fountain" coming to the former Genuine space on Grand Street in Little Italy on Thursday. Dickinson knows a hell of a lot more about cocktails than I do, so let's take him at his word that this is some genuinely exciting news for those who prefer their alcohol in spirit form.
Dante—the next generation of the 100-year-old Greenwich Village staple—will be operating said fountain as part of a partnership with the now-closed restaurant component of the Genuine establishments run by AvroKo. The pop-up of sorts will be called "DANTE at GENUINE."
