Thursday February 9 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. On zoom. Organized by Il Cenacolo SF. Donatello, along with Ghiberti, was one of the most important Early Renaissance sculptors. He worked in bronze, marble, woodand terracotta. We will examine pieces from his Early Period, including the statues from Orsanmichele, the Mature Period featuring the bronze David, the Padua Period and his Equestrian Statue of the Gattamelata and his Late Work including the tortured wooden statue of Mary Magdalene.
A third-generation Californian, Susanna was born in Ross CA and Grew up in the house that her father designed in the Dominican neighborhood of San Rafael. She majored in geography at UC Davis and, in summers, worked at the same firm as David Lombardi. They Married in 1970 and have two children, Sara and Eric.
