Dr. Elizabeth Carroll will share her insider's perspective of Venice as a former resident of la città lagunare. She will connect the past to present-day Venice and share her experiences as a scholar, student, and mother having lived in this majestic city. Venice is a place of immense complexity impacted by tourism and climate change. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Art and Art History at San José State University and directs a summer Faculty-Led Program in Venice.
