Fondazione Azzurra hosted a dinner in celebration of the conference "From Earthly Pleasures to Princely Glories in the Medieval and Renaissance Worlds", which took place at the UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies to honor the quincentenary of Machiavelli's The Prince.

The Italian winery Le Corte dei Farfensi, owned by Antonella and Marco Cavalieri, sponsored the dinner event by offering bottles of their oil to all the conference participants, as well as their wine to accompany the meal.
