Join us for a special presentation dedicated to the great astronomer, physicist and engineer Galileo Galilei, by Prof. Alessandro De Angelis and Prof. Claudio Pellegrini.

The event is moderated by Dr. Romeo Beccherelli and is presented by the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, the Leonardo da Vinci Society San Francisco, ISSNAF Bay Area Chapter, and the University of Padua Alumni Association.

ABOUT

Prof. Alessandro De Angelis is the Scientific Attaché at the Permanent Delegation of Italy to the International Organizations in Paris and Full Professor in Experimental Physics at the University of Padua and at IST Lisboa.

Prof. Claudio Pellegrini is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus and Distinguished Research Professor, UCLA; Adjoint Professor at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory; and Member of the National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Romeo Beccherelli is the Scientific attaché at the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco and the Director of Research at the National Research Council of Italy.
