Italian Ambassador, Armando Varricchio, visited the Bay Area in May, for the second time since he presented his credentials as Italy’s ambassador to the United States last year. During his five days in California, Ambassador Varricchio managed to meet and talk to some expats who represent Italy’s best talents in America.
He took some time to visit the flourishing Napa Valley, he met with the California Governor, Jerry Brown; the President of the University of California, Janet Napolitano, and with San Francisco Mayor, Ed Lee. Therefore, he was at Stanford University where he talked about Italy and Europe, visited the Tesla headquarter, and joined an event at Lamborghini.
