For the 21st year, thousands of visitors came to Little Italy to experience San Diego's annual Italian festival, eating their way through authentic Italian classic dishes, moving to traditional Italian folk music, and perusing street chalk art.
Little Italy's Festa has been a tradition celebrating the Italian-American community since 1994. On Sunday, the tradition continued. Except this year for the first time, Festa and a separate Sicilian Festival partnered to create an even larger family-friendly event for the community, covering more than 15 city blocks.
