Around thirty thousand people attended the street party organised by the Little Italy of Los Angeles Association (Lilaa) in San Pedro, a town south of the metropolis that is home to Southern California's largest Italian American community. The 2024 edition is the first to be celebrated since California officially recognised October as the month of Italian cultural heritage.

"The great success is a confirmation of the power of the Italy brand in this territory and the depth of the cultural, economic and friendship ties that unite our countries and peoples," said Los Angeles Consul General Raffaella Valentini.
