Every year, the Nevada County Italian Cultural Foundation holds a luncheon to thank all who work for the foundation during the year. This year's event was held Sunday at the home of Stefano and Sharon Rose Woods in the barn of their Penn Valley home.
Bear River Pasta Co. donated the pasta, and winners of June's Pasta Sauce Cook-off provided the sauce.
Included among the volunteers are Stefano Landini and his crew, who put together the bocce tournament.
Thanks also to all those who work for the Italian Festival, held recently at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley, and at other events during this year.
