Dall'ormai quasi inarrestabile declino a cui si assiste a New York, al clima depresso di Baltimora, alla rinascita di San Diego. E' un quadro con molte ombre e qualche luce quello che fotografa ciò che rimane delle tante 'Little Italy' d'America.
Le 'Piccole Italie' che, in occasione del Columbus Day, "la nostra festa", come la chiamano gli italoamericani, si riempiranno, laddove ancora possibile, di migliaia di bandiere tricolori.
