As of last March 1, Raffaella Valentini is the new Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles. Roman, born in 1975, Valentini graduated in political science from the University of Rome and entered the diplomatic career in 2003. Her first assignment at the Farnesina is at the Directorate General for Development Cooperation.
