The 8th annual San Diego Italian Film Festival is going to start on Oct. 16 and will showcase the best of the year's Italian film production in the City of San Diego and in North County.

The program includes: Anni felici (Those Happy Years), Il comandante e la cicogna (Garibaldi's Lovers), Alì ha gli occhi azzurri (Alì Blue Eyes), Miele (Honey) and Una piccola impresa meridionale (A Small Southern Enterprise), La grande bellezza (The Great Beauty) - Oscar winner as Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards, and Il capitale umano (Human Capital) - which is going to represent Italy at the Oscars 2015.
