San Francisco fans give big bravo to Museo Italo Americano with Tosca Cafe fundraiser

Like any good Italian family-style Sunday lunch, a passage from Dante Alighieri’s epic poem, “The Divine Comedy,” was eloquently recited by chef Dario Cecchini during a fundraiser at Tosca Cafe benefiting the Museo Italo Americano.

Cecchini (the famous Italian butcher and Netflix star, resplendent in Italian-flag tricolor pants) then thanked the Iberico pig (a prized acorn-fed Spanish animal now raised on a Lake County ranch co-owned by Big Night Restaurant Group pastry chef Emily Luchetti), which gave its life for a porchetta “Panzanese” that starred in a delectable four-course menu by Cecchini and Tosca chef Nancy Oakes.
