In the wake of last week's historical moment at the War Memorial Opera house, we wanted to ask some non-Italian opinion leaders in San Francisco what they think about the role of Italians in the Bay.
What we found is quite flattering, but nonetheless not surprising when one considers the depth of the Italian contribution to the civil fabric and history of San Francisco. Take a moment and enjoy the stellar documentary above San Francisco: The Italians' Role in the City Seen by Others, directed by the inestimable Mauro Aprile Zanetti for the 2013 Year of Italian Culture in the United States.
