San Francisco’s Italian-American community remains shocked by the news that a teen from our city was accused of killing a carabiniere in Rome and we are all heartbroken for the officer's family. No matter how long ago our families emigrated to the US, Italian-Americans never stop loving Italy. We are Americans, but we are also forever Italians, in blood and heart.
Because of this we mourn with the friends, family and especially the new bride of slain Carabiniere Vice Brigadier Mario Cerciello Rega. Please join us in showing some love from America - and donate today to support the Carabiniere fund for his family.
Le Donne d’Italia is San Francisco’s multi-generational Italian-American Women's organization. Our mission is to promote and preserve our Italian culture while strengthening Italian female heritage - through building friendships & community.
