The IIC and our language school, the IIS, are moving to a new location at 601 Van Ness Avenue (Opera Plaza) at the beginning of September. The new offices are close to a Bart and Muni station and the City Hall as well as the Hayes district with all its restaurants, cafes, bakeries and interesting shops. The Opera Plaza building itself is full of shops and restaurants and also contains the Landmark Cinema. And of course the Opera is within walking distance!

We are most grateful for your patience as we set up the new headquarters: we hope to resume our normal event programme soon! Meanwhile, if you are in the mood for Italian cultural events, the Scodanibbio memorial concert and the San Jose' Italian Family Festa are happening this weekend, followed by the Italian Film Festival (Marin County) and the De Sica film series (Castro Theatre, SF) later in September.
