The Embassy of Italy to the United States, the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington, and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation present the exhibition “Mosaico | Italian code of a timeless art”, a multimedia immersive exhibition hosted at Dupont Underground conceived with the artistic and creative direction of Magister Art.
The exhibition, structured around seven stations representing Rome, Pompeii, Aquileia, Ravenna, Palermo/Monreale, Piazza Armerina, and Baiae, acts as a real time machine that brings visitors back in time through magical rooms with walls full of wonders. Mosaico | Italian code of a timeless art leads visitors in the discovery of the patrons, images, materials, and gestures that characterize some of the most iconic works of Italy’s mosaic art.
