From March 3-13 the menu at Gran Caffe L'Aquila in Philadelphia will be inspired by recipes of Nenne Sanguineti Poggi (from her autobiography, What Color To Paint Oneself?), realized with ingredients from exceptional Italian products. On March 3rd at 6:00 p.m. the Consul General of Italy Cristiana Mele will open the event sharing the values of "Be IT", Italy as an Extraordinary Place. A themed reception will follow.
This project, Western Riviera: Italian West Coast, was created so as to promote and share with the world the Ligurian Western Riviera. It has been enhanced through a website and a series of videos to showcase the most attractive locations along this little known coast, rich with marvels still to discover.
