Members of Corona D'Italia Lodge No. 807 held their monthly meeting Feb. 3 at Pizza Joe's, 128 Spring Ave., Ellwood City. The session began with a pizza luncheon hosted by Clemmy Sirimarco, president, and served by trustee Pudue LaCava, member Jackie Court and sentinel Lois DiFrischia. The business session followed with financial reports presented by treasurer Louise Vitullo. She noted that 2016 yearly dues are payable by contacting her.
Valerie Valentino, orator and chairwoman of the Corona D'Italia Memorial Scholarship, presented requirements for senior students to apply for the $500 lodge scholarship. Applicants must be a child or grandchild of an active member of the Corona D'Italia or Sons of Italy Lodge No. 608. They are to contact their guidance counselors for application forms. Valentino or Sirimarco may be contacted with questions.
