Federal Judge Joseph F. Saporito, Jr. has been chosen as guest speaker for the Italian American Association's Annual Columbus Day banquet set for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 11 at Genetti Hotel and Convention Center in Wilkes-Barre.

Saporito, who has been admitted to practice law before all courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, is a member of The American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association (Luzerne County Bar Association), immediate past president 2012-2013.
