Filitalia International, a leading Italian-American organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian heritage worldwide, is excited to announce several significant developments, including the approval of new Chapters, upcoming 4th Annual Heroes Award & La Festa della Repubblica Celebration, upcoming District of Italy Convention in Rome and the opening of the Philadelphia branch of Patronato Inca-USA Corp
1. Approval of New Chapters in the USA. During the 148th Board of Directors meeting held on May 14, 2024, Filitalia International approved the establishment of two new Chapters in the USA: the Manhattan 1, NY Chapter led by Maria Theresa Quaranta, and the Denver, CO Chapter led by Jenna Peccia.

2. 4th Annual Heroes Award & La Festa della Repubblica Celebration. Filitalia International will host the 4th Annual Heroes Award & La Festa della Repubblica Celebration on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST at the International Headquarters, "M. Fabrizio & P. Nestico Center for Language & Culture," located at 1834 East Passyunk Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19148. The event will honor heroes from around the world who have made significant contributions to the Italian community and their respective fields. The celebration will include a buffet lunch, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, guest speakers, and a hybrid event option for online attendance. 3. Inaugural District of Italy Convention in Rome. The inaugural District of Italy Convention will take place in Rome, Italy, on July 22, 2024, bringing together all Italian Chapters. The event will feature a delegation from the USA, including Filitalia International Founder and District of Italy President Pasquale F. Nestico, Executive Director Trisha Volpe, and Assistant Executive Director Nick Santangelo. This historic gathering will strengthen the connection among the 11 Italian Chapters from Veneto to Calabria.
4. Opening of Patronato Inca-USA Corp in Philadelphia. Filitalia International announces the opening of the Philadelphia branch of "Patronato Inca-USA Corp" at our International Headquarters. This non-profit association provides advice and assistance to Italian citizens and US citizens of Italian origin residing in the United States. Services include assistance with Italian pensions, social and welfare benefits, immigration, consular procedures, and more. The collaboration between Filitalia International and Patronato Inca-USA aims to enhance support for the Italian community in the USA.
