Former New Jersey Secretary of State Daniel Dalton, who coordinated the launch of the Boys and Girls Club of Glassboro in 2003, was a founding director, and has been a staunch supporter of the county's three locations ever since, will be toasted and roasted by the Boys and Girls Club of Gloucester County (BGCGC) at its largest fund-raising event Oct. 20 at Auletto's in Almonesson.

Dalton served as president of the Glassboro club for the first three years of operation. He will be feted at the organization's fourth annual dinner, the BGCGC's No. 1 fund-raiser. Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling Bob Taylor, executive director, at 856-881-6084. A crowd of about 400 is expected.
