Il ministro della Difesa Roberta Pinotti si è recata in visita a Washington dove ha incontrato il Segretario alla Difesa Chuck Hagel e il Consigliere per la Sicurezza Nazionale del Presidente Obama, Susan Rice.
"Tra Italia e Stati Uniti d'America – ha detto il ministro - esiste da decenni un rapporto privilegiato, come conferma il rilievo particolare che gli USA attribuiscono al nostro Paese quale Host Nation Support".
