Ten years after Army Sgt. Sherwood Baker of Plymouth was killed in action in Iraq, his widow and son say they've moved on but have not forgotten. "I started my own business, and I have just gone on with my life," Debra Wilgus said. "It's what he would have wanted."
Wilgus remarried. She and her husband own Pat & Deb's Sports Memorabilia in Wilkes-Barre. She also owns a small cleaning business. But Sgt. Baker's memory will be preserved in their family, she said. "He'll always be a part of my life," Wilgus said.
