The Italian American Woman's Association (IAWA) celebrated their 30th anniversary Tuesday with a ceremony dinner at the Ambassador Center.
The association selected former Erie Mayor, Joyce Savocchio with their 2014 Woman of the Year Award.
"It's a wonderful honor that the Italian American women's organization has given me and it has great meaning because that's my heritage," Savocchio said.
