Members of Baltimore City's "Little Italy Community Organization" plan to hire private security to patrol the neighborhood and they want businesses to help pay for it.
This announcement follows another armed robbery over the weekend. Letters detailing the private security force are just beginning to be sent to business owners. It's hoped once the community experiences this extra level of policing, they'll be willing to pitch in to help pay for it.
