From one week to the next, we really never know how things will play out, and sometimes certain events and functions, to which we aren't looking forward, end up being the highlights of our week.
And so it went last week when I promised my friend I would go check out the new Italian Immigration Museum down on Passyunk Ave., right smack in the heart of South Philly. I was a little late to the party, so to speak, since the museum had its grand opening in early June, but this was one of the first chances I had to go and check it out so I grabbed it.
