Baltimore City's ambitious Light City festival – a showcase of multi-disciplinary talent set to bold light displays and music in multiple locations – includes an installation at St. Leo the Great Church in Little Italy. Pallottine Father Bernie Carman, pastor, said he was enjoying the display.
"It looks very nice," he said. "They certainly did it respectfully." Light City Baltimore, which began March 28 and will end April 3, includes locations across the city, including Harbor East, the American Visionary Art Museum and Hampden. Operated by the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts (BOPA), the festival is sponsored by Baltimore Gas and Electric and other partners.
