Victor Fogelsonger is looking forward to events planned next month at the historic Letterkenny Chapel that will include a visit to Franklin County by about two dozen descendants of some of the Italian prisoners of war who helped build the chapel during World War II.

He would like to connect with the Italians and ask if any of their fathers ever talked about his birth father, a POW who once romanced his mother, Betty Gilbert, when she was 17. Although Betty was deeply in love with Elio DeAngelis, their relationship was not to be.
