Casa Italia will depart from its Man of the Year format this year, focusing the spotlight on Italian-American organizations at its 48th annual gala. The event will take place on May 5 at Alta Villa Banquets in Addison. “The Chicago area is blessed with more than six dozen groups that preserve our precious traditions and culture,” says Casa Chairman Peter Volpe. “We want to celebrate their many accomplishments and thank them for all they do.”
Tickets for the gala are $95, sponsorships range from $2,000 to $5,000, and pages in the program book range from $100 to $1,000. Raffle tickets of $25 a piece or five for $100 could win a grand prize of $5,000. Any organization that purchases a table of 10 for $950, or the financial equivalent, will receive a free page in the front of the book profiling your organization plus special acknowledgement during the gala presentation.
